ARP Networks Expands Its Platform API for the AI Agent Era

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New API endpoints deploy ARP Thunder™ Cloud Dedicated Servers in 55 seconds, giving Claude Code, OpenCode, Openclaw, Hermes Agent, DeepSeek Harness and any other AI agent a dedicated machine of its own, backed by direct engineer support, not a chatbot.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24, 2026

ARP Networks, Inc., the independent, engineer-operated hosting provider serving developers since 1999, today announced a major expansion of its Platform API, purpose-built for the AI agent era. The expanded API allows developers and autonomous coding agents to programmatically provision ARP Thunder™ Cloud Dedicated Servers in as little as 55 seconds, giving each agent an isolated, non-oversubscribed machine with dedicated CPU cores and pairing it with the direct engineer support that has defined ARP Networks for more than 27 years.

AI coding agents no longer just suggest code. They install packages, spawn processes, rewrite file systems, and run long jobs unattended. That workload profile breaks the assumptions of shared, oversubscribed virtual infrastructure. With the expanded ARP Networks Platform API, an agent can request its own dedicated server, run its task on hardware nobody else is sharing, and release it, all without a human clicking through a control panel.

An API Built for Agents That Provision Their Own Infrastructure

The expanded Platform API extends ARP Networks' REST API beyond virtual private servers to the full ARP Thunder™ Cloud Dedicated Server line, covering the complete server lifecycle: create, configure, image, reboot, rebuild, and destroy.

Key capabilities of the expanded API include:

ARP Thunder™ Cloud Dedicated Servers start at $40 per month for a 2-core, 4GB RAM configuration and scale to 8 cores and 16GB RAM at $120 per month, with add-ons available for RAM, cores, SSD and SATA storage, backup space, bandwidth, IPv4 addresses, and BGP sessions.

Professional Support Is Part of the Product, Not an Upsell

The second half of the announcement is the part most infrastructure APIs leave out. When an automated deployment goes wrong at 2 a.m., ARP Networks customers reach engineers who operate the infrastructure directly, not a tier-1 ticket queue and not a chatbot.

"Every provider is racing to publish an API for agents. Almost none of them will pick up the phone when that API does something you did not expect. We have been running this network with our own hands since 1999. When an agent spins up fifty dedicated servers and something looks wrong, you talk to the person who built the thing. That combination, real automation and real engineers, is what we think the agent era actually requires."

"The industry spent fifteen years teaching developers to accept shared, oversubscribed compute. Agents are exposing why that was always a compromise. An agent that gets a dedicated machine in 55 seconds simply does better work than one fighting for cycles it does not own."
